Visit the quirky town of Tirau approximately 50 minutes drive from Tauranga. Tirau is a vibrant little town set in the South Waikato amongst some of New Zealand’s most fertile farmland.

Three main roads pass through this small town which boasts a large variety of unique shops, cafes and restaurants.

All the shops are within walking distance and include - cafes, art, furniture, crafts, clocks, clothes, books, teddy bears, wines, light shades, jewellery, saddlery, honey, ice-creams and antiques and collectables.

We will take you to a furrier for beautifully made possum fur jackets, shawls and scarves.
